NDIS Participant Rights

Ace Therapy Services supports and upholds the rights of NDIS participants in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct and NDIS Practice Standards.

Participants have the right to:

• Be treated with dignity and respect
• Receive safe and competent supports
• Make choices about their supports and services
• Have their privacy respected
• Raise concerns or complaints without fear of retribution

We work to ensure supports are provided ethically, transparently and in a way that respects each person’s individual needs, preferences and circumstances.

 Older people receiving Support at Home services
We respect and uphold the rights of older people under the Aged Care Act 2024 Statement of Rights, including the right to:

• make your own decisions about your care, with support if you want it
• be treated with dignity and respect, and have your culture and identity valued
• receive safe, quality care from skilled workers
• have your privacy respected
• receive information in a way you understand, including in your preferred language
• have an advocate or supporter of your choice
• raise concerns or complaints without fear of losing your services

Our workers who provide aged care services meet the aged care worker screening requirements and follow the Aged Care Code of Conduct.
